Cruisin' The Park Charity Car Show

The Rotary Club of East Lake Sunrise would like to invite you to join us on Saturday, April, 20, 2024 for our 17th Annual Cruisin' The Park Charity Car Show and Community Festival at John Chesnut Sr. Park in Palm Harbor.

We host this event with the YMCA, helping promote the Y's nationally recognized “Healthy Kids Day”. There will be activities throughout the day, as well as displays from the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, Krunch Robotics team, East Lake Fire Rescue’s Antique Fire Truck, and from many other local community & non-profit organizations.

Whether entering a vehicle or looking to be a sponsor, all proceeds will go to benefit the community and beyond. The Rotary Club of East Lake Sunrise is a volunteer organization of business professionals dedicated to making a difference through local, national, and international community service. The club meets every Thursday morning, see below for time and location.

Rotary International

Rotary International is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide.  Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally tocombat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.

Each club participates in numerous projects that help their local communities. In addition, Rotarians fund an International program called “Polio Plus” through the Rotary Foundation that serves to eliminate polio and other diseases throughout the world. The prospects of achieving global polio eradication are high. Rotary looks forward to providing all children with a permanent gift — a world free of polio.

Object of Rotary

The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:

1. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;

2. High ethical standards in business and professions, the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society;

3. The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;

4. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
